Job description

Step Teachers are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant specializing in Early Years. This role is set to commence in September 2024. You will have the opportunity to work at an Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' school located in Southgate, London. This school strives to understand each individual and unlock every child’s potential, by delivering an outstanding and ambitious curriculum for all through forward-thinking pedagogical practice, excellent facilities and resources, and creative, passionate staff. 

EYFS Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to children within Early Years following the EYFS framework.
  • Plan and execute enriching activities to enhance student learning and development.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with the Class Teacher and other staff members.
  • Identify and address the additional support needs of students.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification is essential.
  • Previous experience in an Early Years setting within a mainstream school or private nursery.
  • A nurturing nature and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
  • Experience as a EYFS learning support Assistant
