We are looking for a motivated Bid Manager to lead and manage bids within our Clients Sales &; Marketing team. This role is key to ensuring the timely submission of high-quality, winning bids for both new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities of a BID Manager:

  • Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality bids.
  • Own the full bid process, ensuring compliance and due diligence.
  • Collaborate on Win Strategy and develop strong customer-focused themes.
  • Capture customer requirements and align bids with company strategy.
  • Manage bid plans and schedules, leading cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee proposal quality, editorial content, and copywriting.
  • Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams post-contract.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of bid processes.

 

Skills &; Experience of a BID Manager:

  • 2+ years of proven success in leading bids.
  • Strong team leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with bids >£1M in value.
  • Financially literate, excellent copywriting, and planning abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids under pressure.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and organised.
  • Excellent communicator and team player.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
