Are you an experienced support worker ready for a rewarding challenge? We're looking for dedicated individuals to provide overnight support for a gentleman. With a 1:1 support ratio during nights, your patience and empathy will make a profound difference in his life.

About the Role:

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the person we support. You'll provide personalised support, offer companionship, and be there to assist with any needs that arise during the night.

Responsibilities:

1:1 Support: Provide attentive support with is tailored to the gentleman's unique needs. Safety and Security: Ensure a safe and secure environment throughout the night. Communication: Maintain open communication with the person we support and his family, providing updates as needed. Assistance: Support with tasks such as personal care, medication management, and any other support required.

About the Gentleman:

This young man, in his mid-20s, has a learning disability and autism. Though he may sometimes show signs of distress, he's also incredibly kind and bright. He loves activities like Xbox gaming, swimming, and cheering on his favourite football team, Chelsea

Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with Learning Disability & Autism preferred. Patience: Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations. Flexibility: Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to changing needs. Compassion: Genuine empathy and compassion for those you support.
