We are looking to hire compassionate and devoted Social Workers to join the Family Support & Protection team in West Essex. This would be a permanent full time role working 37 hours per week.
Requirements
Duties of the Social Worker:
- Provide direct support and intervention to children and families experiencing various challenges such as neglect, abuse or/and family breakdown.
- Conduct assessments of the children and families to determine their needs and develop appropriate support plan.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals including health care providers, educators and law enforcement to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
- Advocate for the rights and best interests of the children within the legal and social care system.
- Monitor and review the progress of support plans making adjustments as necessary to ensure the wellbeing and safety of the children and families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, assessments and support plans in accordance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to families to enable them to access appropriate services and resources.
