Are you interested in Editorial work with a passion for educational publishing? The DK Learning team is seeking a creative, motivated and detail-oriented Editor to be a part of our vibrant creative team. This is an entry level role, so no previous Editorial experience is needed.
You'll get to work on a variety of projects under the guidance of our fantastic Managing and Senior Editors, helping us deliver top-notch educational materials. This is a great opportunity to develop your passion for literacy and phonics as well as to make a difference in the lives of Children globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in content development, editing, copy editing, and proofreading. Perform sense/fact-checking tasks across various projects. Ensure content is age-appropriate, consistent with company values, and suitable for global publication. Keep abreast of competitors and market trends to develop new ideas for content presentation. Collaborate effectively with team members, including designers, managers, art directors, and sales teams. Liaise with UK, US, and IL sales staff to ensure product content meets territory and co-edition requirements. Support and contribute to team meetings and DK's DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) efforts.Skills & Behaviours:
A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset. Proactive in meeting and exceeding expectations. Resilient and able to work under pressure. Flexible and adaptable to change.
