Job Purpose

We are looking for a recently graduated engineer to join our Graduate Program within our multicultural team in Paris. Hired on a permanent contract, you will begin your experience with an 18-month training program, consisting of 3 periods of 6 months' immersion in different departments, giving you a broad overview of our Subsea business in Paris.

What is the TechnipFMC Graduate Program?

The Graduate Program aims to attract and develop the skills of young graduates who are ready to invest fully in their professional careers, all within an international group renowned for its technological innovations and its leadership in the Oil & Gas market. Throughout the program, you will receive personalized support from a mentor and the HR team, helping you to integrate and develop within the Group.

Job Description

Graduate Program career paths

Depending on your profile and experience, you may occupy 3 of the positions listed below:

Tendering: You will participate in the preparation and validation of tender prices for Subsea projects, mainly in Africa, from the budgetary phase through to project execution. You will coordinate the actions of all the departments concerned, as well as the preparation of qualification, sales and publication documents, taking a critical look at the solutions proposed in order to optimize costs and schedules. Planning: Within the Project Services department, you will play an active role in drawing up the schedule for one or more projects, helping the project manager to manage his activities from two angles: that of the project in general, from start-up to conclusion, with key dates and monitoring of the progress of the various activities. that of offshore operations involving fleet vessels and, more often than not, third-party vessels. Procurement / Supply Chain: Within this department, which handles purchasing and subcontracting activities, you will be integrated into a project organization under the responsibility of a Project Supply Chain Manager. In this context, you will have the opportunity to participate in the management of a number of equipment purchases or subcontracting contracts required for the execution of a Subsea project. Structure: In this department, you will be involved in the design of subsea structural equipment, including equipment required during the installation phase. Your activity will include design phases, analyses requiring the use of modeling and technical report writing. You will be exposed to a wide range of projects, from design to installation phases.  Flexible pipeline: You will be involved in the design of subsea flexible pipelines, including accessories. This involves writing technical reports for the studies carried out, documenting the manufacture of flexible pipelines and their equipment, and generating multiple contacts, notably with R&D teams. Installation: Mobilized on a project, you will provide support during the engineering phases of subsea installation by carrying out calculations and reports. You may also take part in offshore operations if required by the project. Operations: As part of a "Project" team, you will support the teams already mobilized to take part in the preparation of offshore operations - with the development of various deliverables, the management of equipment required for these operations, and the preparation of subcontractors and vessels. Depending on requirements, you may be asked to take part in mobilization and/or offshore operations.

The aim of the Graduate Program

Exchanges within the 3 departments will enable you to rapidly develop a wide range of skills, facilitate your integration and familiarize you with the diversity of our businesses. At the end of the Graduate Program, you will be offered a permanent position in one of the 3 departments, depending on your aspirations and the company's needs.

You are meant for this job if:

You demonstrate autonomy and adaptability, curiosity and a genuine interest in discovering new fields. Reactive and proactive, you are recognized for your interpersonal skills and your natural empathy, enabling you to be a driving force behind change. You have a strong team spirit, enabling you to easily mobilize the right contacts. You are fluent in written and spoken English You are mobile internationally, for occasional projects
