You will ensure internal and external testing is managed effectively, thoroughly and on time, whilst working in a coherent manner with suppliers and procurement.

Responsabilities:

  • A pro-active approach to introducing new methodology and continuous improvement strategies in line with the mission statement.
  • Design, develop and deploy a test strategy, which is consistent and aligned with the E&T Group objectives and strategy.
  • Actively participate in knowledge distribution, by supporting/training and advising colleagues in terms of operational and testing best practice, to support and improve quality of our Systems and procedures.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and create/manage execution of multiple test plans, to determine if the acceptance criteria are met, and the expected results meet the defined objectives.
  • Collaborating with the PMO team ensuring suppliers test and technical documentation is accurately recorded.
  • Liaise with Technical Project Managers, PMO, Product Owners and wider project stakeholders (which may include 3rd party consultants/suppliers) to identify and propose appropriate resourcing for operational, test and implementation phases, whilst establishing and maintaining efficient relations.
  • Implementation and usage of multiple tools and best practices for quality assurance.
  • Flexibility to test concurrent and/or related projects, by understanding and managing operational and testing dependencies and ensuring that Group operational and test resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Contribute to post implementation reviews.
  • Occasional QMO operational support on event weekends either on site or in the Media and Technology Centre
  • Produce event race issue reports and analysis documents for distribution to the technical directors and E&T managing director recommending QA methodology updates to assist E&T teams in areas of improvement.

Required skills and experience:

  • B.A. with 3 years’ experience preferred.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • QA certification such as Six Sigma, CQE etc
  • Experience in racing or motorsport is non negotiable
  • Proven experience of Asset Tracking management.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office/JIRA/Confluence or similar applications.
  • Ability to run investigations into root-cause analysis of hardware, software and systematic issues and recommend solutions to the relevant teams for resolution.
