Main duties of the job
The role of the hospital practitioner in cardiology is to support our specialist service under the supervision of a nominated secondary care consultant. The post holder will see patients in the outpatient setting under the supervision of a named consultant. The post holder will also initiate and interpret clinical investigations. The post holder will communicate with the patient and referring GP with diagnosis and any further management and recommendations that may be required.

Job description
