Youll have the opportunity to support projects across our partnership, working closely with our fantastic partner organisations including NHS Trusts, local councils and community organisations. The post holder will be an important member of our friendly team, with the opportunity to work across a wide range of duties including: media relations, digital, internal communications, marketing campaigns, and involvement projects.

Main duties of the job

As an integral part of our communications and involvement team, your responsibilities and opportunities will be varied this role will allow you to stretch yourself and be proactive.

Key duties will include

Support the design, delivery and evaluation of communications and involvement activity across the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership.

Support our reactive and proactive press office function, handling media enquiries and monitoring coverage.

Coordinate our digital communications: websites, social media, e-mail and intranet.

Manage our online involvement portal and stakeholder database.

Support and implement behaviour change and marketing campaigns.

Use insight from involvement to influence communications campaigns.

Provide operational advice and practical support on communications and involvement to teams across our partnership.

Experience of working in a busy, fast-paced communications and engagement function.

Desirable

Experience of engagement with diverse communities to understand experiences and gather insight.

Qualifications

Relevant training and experience in related function, and evidence of on-going professional development

Skills & behaviours

Essential

Well-developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adjust communication style and content to suit the audience. Strong skills in digital media and IT; confident working on digital first communications and engagement projects.
