TheirBuilding Performance team are seeking an experienced Building PerformanceEngineer to join their expanding team. This is a great opportunity to join awell-established organisation that can offer you the support you need, whilebeing known for investing heavily in their employees' learning and development,and having great career progression opportunities. You will be expected to runyour own projects, working through the RIBA stages as well as working as partof a larger team. The office has a relaxed, flexible culture and regular socialincentives take place.
Your new role
You'llplay a key part at the forefront of the building performance team and will beexpected to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
Your keyresponsibilities will include:
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Performance, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards Chartership with a relevant professional body (e.g., CIBSE, IMechE). Must have excellent knowledge and capabilities in Operational Energy. A minimum of 5 years of experience in building performance engineering, ideally within an MEP consultancy environment. Proficiency in thermal modelling software (e.g., IES VE, TAS, Design Builder) and other relevant analytical tools. In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, standards, and sustainability certification schemes (e.g., BREEAM, LEED, WELL). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Demonstrated leadership experience and a strong track record of successful project delivery.
