We also manufacture and hire various otherproducts that are often used in tandem with temporary trafficsignals products like CCTV cameras ANPR automatic workzoneprotection barriers and variable messaging signs. Traffic lightoperatives are the backbone of the business. Day in and day out theoperatives are on the front line with customers you might say likethe 4th emergency service delivering on the partnerships that haveenabled them to continue to grow over the last 25 years. With noexperience required our client invests in comprehensive trainingfor all new starters. TheRole:

As a Traffic Light Operative(TLO) your main role will be installing repairing and removingtemporary traffic lights. This tends to be working on behalf oftheir hire customers some of whom will be contracted for longtermworks while others will be working more reactively in response tothings like emergency utilities works or roadtraffic accidents. Thenature of these emergency works means hours will vary. This canoccasionally involve weekend work and nightwork.

Your main responsibilitiesinclude:

• Working onsite TrafficManagement plans.

• Basicfault finding and resolution of companyequipment.

• Signalmaintenance and batteryexchanges.

• Adhering to allcompany policies procedures and safe methods ofworking.

• You will promotea positive company image whilst at work wearing companybrandedPPE.

The operative roles arefastpaced and active. There certainly wont be a dull dayApplicants for the role should bear in mind that the batteries inour traffic lights weigh 23kg each so there can be quite a lot ofmanual handling involved daytoday.
