The Catering Department is seeking enthusiastic andmotivated individuals to become part of our friendly team at PinderfieldsHospital.

In this fast-paced and busy environment, you'll spend mostof your day on your feet, playing a crucial role in ensuring food is preparedand delivered to the highest standards for our staff and visitors.

Your duties will be varied, with no two days alike, as youwork as part of a team to provide a safe, hygienic, nutritious, and timely foodservice.

There are 3 full time positions working hours per week,5 days over 7, and - One weekend off in three.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible forensuring the smooth running of the food preparation and serving areas forpatients, staff and visitors.

A willingness to work in other areas of the cateringdepartment is essential to ensure continuity of service.

Ensuring that food hygiene legislation and the Trusts FoodSafety Policy (HACCP) are adhered at all times.

Job responsibilities

The hygienic handling of food products inaccordance with food hygiene legislation and the Trusts Food Safety Policy(HACCP) Provide a food service under the guidance ofsupervisors to patients, visitors and staff Regeneration of patient food according toinstruction using equipment as trained Observe portion control guidance and ensuremeals are appetising and attractive Taking and recording food temperatures and seekinstruction if these are outside recommended limits Cleaning and appropriate disposal of waste asper schedules Check stock deliveries and complete appropriatedocumentation Ensure stock is dated and stock rotationprocedures are observed Comply with health and safety regulations Ensure that personal appearance, conduct andcustomer care are of the highest standard.
