Are you a recent psychology graduate looking for a new challenge?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Lichfield who are looking for several teaching assistants to start full time Monday to Friday (8:30am to 15:30pm) from September. The school is an independent special school for boys and girls aged from 7 go 18. The outstanding school supports pupils with a variety of complex needs including Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs as well as Autism and other SEN needs. The desirable candidate will have knowledge and experience of SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teaching staff in the delivery of lessons
  • Delivering small group sessions
  • Providing one to one support to students who require additional help
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff

In order to be considered:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field

-        Have knowledge of SEN

-        Have a passion for education and working with young people

-        Hold a current and clear DBS or willing to do a new one
