We’re recruiting for a talented and proactive Data Business Analyst to join our team Contractually based out of our Basingstoke office, this is a permanent position, working 37 hours a week with the flexibility of a mix of home and office working.

Here’s the facts about the role:

Our organization is currently delivering a significant tech transformation, in which data is a major component. As Data Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements and technical designs. 

You’ll play a crucial role in gathering requirements, designing solutions, and optimizing our data platform. Your responsibilities will span across various areas, including data pipelines, governance processes, business process changes, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, and an appreciation of Azure data services and data modelling. 

As part of our data team, you’ll participate in data governance efforts, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and compliance. Your ability to communicate effectively whether conveying insights to technical experts or presenting findings to non-technical audiences will be crucial. 

Experience in a data business analyst / data architect role is essential. You'll have some hands-on experience with components such as PowerBI, Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse and be able to support data engineers and technical analysts with the delivery of new components and troubleshoot data issues.
