Job description

Job responsibilities

Job Description:

Accurate processing offinancial transactions though Xero accounting software to ensure exactfinancial records are maintained within the Federation on behalf of the PCNs.

Assisting in theprocessing of Additional Roles claims as per PCN DES requirements, ensuringaccurate reimbursement for all additional roles within the PCNs.

Posting all supplierinvoices, reconciling against statements and processing payments againstcorrect PCN.

Collaborating with Federationcolleagues to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with contractualrequirements financial management of PCNs.

Deal with queries fromPCNs, Federation colleagues and other parties where required, handling queries,managing confidential information, and contributing to overall performancereporting.

Maintain a high level of work quality and ensuring timelycompletion of tasks with excellent attention to detail.

Processing information requiredfor monthly payroll.

Processing and updatinginformation on NHS and NEST Pensions portals where appropriate.

Processing debtors, issuing reportsand statements and chasing payments where appropriate.

Administrating anyday-to-day activities ensuring policies, procedures, and systems are compliedwith.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

Experience of, or good exposure to book-keeping to trial balance stage using Zero accounting software. Good office administrative skills. Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills Excellent attention to detail to work accurately Ability to work in a team and with the initiative, drive and able to work on their own Qualifications: Book-keeper/Accounts Assistant Qualified by experience Personal attributes: Ability to work with due care and attention, to maintain a high degree of accuracy Decision making: Ability to make recommendations and take part in a decision making process.

Desirable

Working knowledge of NHS Primary Care environments. Relationship management skills Experience in payroll processing Ability to assist with carrying out bank and control account reconciliations
