**FINANCE ASSISTANT ** ROTHERHAM ** S61 ** LONG TERM ROLE ** SOUTH YORKSHIRE**

Due to internal restructure our client are now looking to expand their finance team and have created a new role of a finance assitant reporting directly to the Finance Director.

The role is a varied adhoc role and will involve a lot of analysis work on Excell using Oprea 3 as operating system

The role will involve assisting with the following

Monthly Stock Controls

Monthly Stock Costings

Prepayments/Accruals

Fixed Assets

HR/Payroll

Posted Journals /Cashbook/Petty Cash Recs etc

assisting with development of spreadsheets to help other team members

Help in Prep of Management accounts

Help in Prep of Annual accounts

Help with Adhoc Reporting to Group ( as and when )

Filing of National Statistics

VAT Returns including Reconciliation

Assisting other team members i.e Sales/Purchase/Buyer if work load exceeds and/if holiday cover.

Basic Admin Duties ( All team expected to help with) - Answering Phone/Post /Deliveries

Hours of work will ideally be 0800 - 1600 working a 40 hour week (Can be flexible for 0900 - 1700)

We are looking for a very analytical person who has an inquisitive mind who is not afraid to challenge in a correct manner to make sure the numbers are correct
