1. The post holder will provide a good role model, develop and maintain good systems of communication, be able to communicate with a wide range of people in a range of situations
2. Reporting verbally and in writing with regards to client's progress, assessments and care planning to the wider multi-disciplinary team
3. Maintain accurate and complete records
4. Discussing with client and their families / carers regarding care planning, assessments, and treatment
5. Be able to acknowledge the barriers to effective communication and adapt communication style in response
6. The post holder will be involved in self-development and contribute to the development of others.
7. Engaging in reflective practice and implement evidence-base to practice, linking to appraisal standards.
8. Identification of individual development needs and accessing learning opportunities available.
9. Encouraging and enabling others to develop and apply knowledge and skills, by acting as a supervisor and mentor.
10. Contribute to developing the workplace as a learning environment.
11. To assist Team manager in undertaking appraisals of other team members.

21. Identifying the implications of direction, policy and strategy on current practice in a constructive and timely manner
22. Actively involve service users and the public in service improvements
23. Timely investigations and response made when dealing with PALs issues in line with Trust policy
24. The post holder will contribute to improving quality services
25. Acting consistently with legislation, policy and procedures
26. Be involved in the management and administration of medications, including Clozapine and Depots.
