Job overview
Working across the Borough of Hounslow and Richmond as our classes and clinics are at different locations requiring travelling between sites.
Experience and skills required;
Significant relevant post registration experience in cardiology with evidence of continued professional development. Experience and/or a keen interest and understanding in the rehabilitation of cardiac patients and of those with chronic conditions. Excellent communication skills, be organised, a good team player and have time management skills to work under pressure alongside other members of the team. Work autonomously and be able to make decisionsPlease note: Part time and Full time consider for this role.
Main duties of the job
Independently perform advanced assessments of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological needs and deliver an individualised and specialised treatment programme of care. Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner with freedom to act on own interpretation of data without direct supervision. Use evidence-based principles/current best practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions ensuring a high-quality service and delivery of safe and effective outpatient clinics, exercise for patients with CVD and Heart Health Education Sessions in accordance with best practice. Consolidate and develop knowledge and skills through participation in continuous professional development (CPD). Assist in the supervision, education and assessment/competence of students as required. This would be to a graduate standard and involve working with universities to ensure standard of practice and teaching meets the standards set by degree level qualification. Contribute to providing expert clinical practice as well as contributing to the continuing development of the service.

NMC Registration Post registration qualification in cardiology/ related subject

Member of BACPR ENB 998 or equivalent
