Main duties of the job

What you'll beresponsible for:

Contribute to treatingpatients during clinical emergencies. Receive, transfer andposition patients for clinical procedures. Maintain health, safetyand the control of infection in clinical work areas. Support, monitor andcare for patients during clinical procedures

Job Title : - Registered Nurse - Theatres

Trust : - Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust

Location : - Main sites are Royal Devon (Wonford Hospital) Exeter and North Devon District Hospital Barnstaple , other areas are Exmouth/Sidmouth/Honiton/Tiverton.

Pay Rates :£15-£25

Shift Patterns :7:30am to 3:30pm, 7:30am to 12:30pm, 9am to 5pm, 12:30pm to 8:30pm, 3:30pm to 8:30pm, 8pm to 8am

To beresponsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a memberof the operating theatre team To participate in theassessment of patient care needs implementing and maintaining agreed standardsof care. Following Codes of Professional Practice providehigh quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Pre-OperativeEnvironment

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

What youll need:

A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
