About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dental Nurse to join our Maxillofacial/Oral Surgery and Orthodontic team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to dental surgeons and orthodontists in the Maxillofacial/Oral Surgery and Orthodontic departments.
  • Assist with patient preparation, treatment, and recovery in a hospital setting.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous development of our services.
Requirements
  • Registered Dental Nurse qualification and GDC registration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
