Pay Rate: £27, to £ 30,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Rotating shift Monday-Friday (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm)
Location: Stafford ST18 9AR

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

To directly assist Management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area. To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, always maintaining standards of excellence. To track and trace orders using a digital In-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level. Oversight of kitting and goods out department ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner to customer specification Conducting 1-2-1's, return to works and development planning for members of staff

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Previous and practical experience as a supervisor or first line manager within a logistics environment. (Essential) Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices. Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages. (Essential) Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports.

A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well received.
