About the school:
I am currently working on behalf of an incredible Special Educational Needs (SEN)school catering for pupils with a wide range of needs and abilities. The school prides itself on its stunning campus, which it utilises to ensure every pupil can grow and achieve their personal and academic goals. The school's aim is to prepare our pupils for the wider world through a progressive and personalised teaching and learning journey that responds dynamically to the needs of each pupil, supporting, nurturing, encouraging independence and having fun along the way.
About the role:
- Be a positive and proactive addition to the existing staff
- Work 1-1 with pupils who require extra support
- Adhere to all safeguarding and safety protocol whilst in the classroom, as well as while running outdoor Forest School classes
- Creating a well structured and positive environment
- Teaching students with SEND/SEMH in specialist classes or groups
- Building relationships with the pupils, the parents and the faculty
