About the role

This role is available on a secondment basis and is open to internal UCL applicants only. External applicants will not be considered at this time.

Main purpose of the job

Oversee the work of specialist staff who are supporting designated undergraduate (UG) degree programmes (including iBScs) and online postgraduate taught (PGT) programmes, ensuring effective procedures are adopted and documented for dealing with all aspects of the administration. Lead the team in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students and staff related to the UG and online degree programmes. Coordinate all tasks relating to the teaching and learning activities of students, from enquiry to completion, including supporting committees and processes relating to assessment, student, and programme records.

About you

We are looking for a candidate with experience in providing administrative support in an education environment. The successful post holder will be able to supervise and work independently, have good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of people. They will also be able to demonstrate their ability to adapt, be proactive, work well under pressure and meet deadlines with a commitment to high quality service provision.A job description and person specification can be accessed at the bottom of this page.
