This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created and developing partnership team working with individuals experiencing rough sleeping and other complex health, housing and social issues.
The team currently consists of a small and friendly group of a Nurse, Occupational Therapist and administrator we are working in close partnership with P3, CGL and Adult Social Care representative. We are looking to expand our team with another Nurse, Psychologist and Psychology Assistant.
We are looking to employ individuals who would be happy working in non traditional clinical settings, creative with engagement and bring more ideas to contribute to the team development.
There will be opportunities for CPD within the Trust and we would like to develop closer working links with the Complex Emotional Needs team and Criminal Justice team. Clinical supervision for Psychology will be based with the Complex Emotional Needs team.
Main duties of the job
To take an Applied Psychology stance to working with individuals, teams, and organisations, in order to inform psychological ways of working within and across services. To input to the partnership team for Multiple Complex Needs, including direct partners Adult Social Care (ASC) and Change Grow Live (CGL) substance misuse service. To work with senior management, commissioners and partners to implement NICE guidelines NG214 'Integrated Health and Social Care for people experiencing homelessness' within the Trust, the team and wider services. To take an active role in promoting the psychological health and well-being of clients and carers To directly provide and coordinate highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention services to individuals/ groups/organisations, using a variety of applied psychology models. To work in unconventional clinical environments ( rough sleeper sites, supported housing, partner agency units, in the community etc) to deliver support to individuals with complex emotional needs. To work with direct partners, team, senior management, commissioners, and partners to implement NICE guidelines NG214 'Integrated Health and Social Care for people experiencing homelessness' within the Trust, the team and wider servicesThe qualification, training & experience requirements for the role are underlined in the Job Description/Person Specification.

Job responsibilities
To carry a caseload and provide a direct service for psychological issues which demand more than a standard therapeutic approach. ( Basic Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) may have been tried unsuccessfully, methods may need significant adaptation, particular challenges exist in maintaining a therapeutic relationship.) To draw appropriately from a range of assessment tools and methodologies. To interpret and integrate complex data and information from a variety of sources to develop psychological formulations and identify the most relevant intervention strategy. To monitor and evaluate progress, refining formulations and interventions as necessary. To assess and manage risk within an appropriate psychological framework. Plans and prioritises workload, exercising autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment, and discharge of clients whose problems are managed by psychologically based care plans. Maintains appropriate records in electronic or hard copy in line with Trust policies and Professional guidelines. Includes workload data and using word processing skills to produce client related reports. Works primarily within a multi-disciplinary approach/team where a variety of opinion and expertise is brought to bear on a situation. Person Specification

Post Graduate Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology, as accredited by the BPS (or equivalent level health-relevant Applied Psychology training, as accredited by the professional body) Registered as Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC
