Programme Highlights

Phase 1: Cover Supervisor (Year 1)
Starting in January 2025, you’ll spend your first year working as a Cover Supervisor. This role allows you to:

  • Gain Classroom Experience by stepping into various classrooms, managing lessons in the teacher’s absence, and building confidence in a real school environment.
  • Develop Key Skills like effective classroom management, behavior strategies, and communication skills essential for any teaching role.
  • Receive Mentorship from our team of experienced educators who will guide you through this foundational year, offering support, feedback, and insights into teaching.

Phase 2: Teacher Training (Year 2)
Following your Cover Supervisor year, you’ll begin our fully-funded Graduate Teacher Training Programme. This phase includes: 

  • Formal Teacher Training toward Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), while applying theory directly in the classroom.
  • You’ll have the chance to Specialise in a Subject Area of your choice, deepening your knowledge and skills.
  • With Full Support from mentors and coaches, you’ll gradually take on greater responsibilities, preparing you for a successful teaching career.

Degree: A 2:2 or above in any subject. Passion for Education: Graduates who are motivated, compassionate, and ready to make a difference in students' lives. Location: Candidates based in or able to relocate to Bridgwater.
