Job Specification:

  • Undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home (we are a low visiting practice)
  • Checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion
  • Prescribing in accordance with the practice formulary
  • Undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working in primary care.

  • High QOF and Enhanced Service Achievement
  • Well established undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across both sites.
  • Research Site Initiative ( RSI ) level 4
  • GMS Practice with a list size of 18,300 patients
  • Weekly clinical meetings

The practice value holistic high-quality care for their patients. The practice is able to nurture and mentor GPs at any stage in their career. The practice is part of the Ashfield North Primary Care Network with whom they have excellent relationships; one of the partners is also Clinical Director for the PCN .
