Rate ofPay: 18.52 23.57 perhour
Responsibilities:
- To take phone calls or receive office visitsfrom children and families known to the unit dealing sensitivelywith families who may be in distress.
- To ensurediaries and appointments for members of the unit are coordinatedand accessible.
- To organise meetings andarrange venues for members of the unit and maintain follow up andbring forward systems to alert members to forthcoming meetings andappointments
- To collect and aggregatemanagement information about the work of the unit and produceregular reports as directed by the Consultant SocialWorker/Practice Development Manager.
- Toundertake research or special projects on behalf of the unit asdirected by the Consultant Social Worker/Practice DevelopmentManager.
Qualifications:
- Experience of managing competing priorities anddemands work methodically and think systematically to achievetargets and meet deadlines.
- Knowledgeof statutory requirements of Childrens Social Care and anunderstanding of the priorities context and sensitivity of theservice provided to vulnerable children and theirfamilies
- Knowledge of the Data Protection Actand the need to respect the confidentiality of vulnerable childrenand their families.
