Are you comfortable supporting with challenging behaviour and young people who struggle with mental health issues? A partner school in Harrogate are seeking support staff to act as a positive influence their students. 

The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining a positive learning environment for pupils with additional SEMH needs across age groups. You must have prior experience supporting SEMH and challenging behaviour, be in within a classroom, through a Psychology degree or support work.

  • Be able to adapt support depending on pupils needs.
  • Must be willing to support pupils Learning and Social skills.
  • Team Teach or other positive behaviour training.
  • Willing to intervene if a challenging situation arises.
  • MUST HAVE at least 3 months' residency and Right to Work in the UK and Overseas Criminal Clearance
  • Driving licence preferred due to school location
