Job Description

We are seeking an organised and efficient Recruitment & Engagement Support professional to join our team in Braintree, United Kingdom. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our organisation's recruitment efforts and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Assist in the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate information
  • Coordinate and support the onboarding process for new hires
  • Help organise and facilitate employee engagement activities and events
  • Provide administrative support to overall team, including document management and data entry
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations
  • Respond to basic HR queries from employees and managers
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and recruitment practices
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • CIPD qualification (desirable)
  • Knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
