Job summary

Express Diagnostics is looking to expand its Cardiac team and therefore is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5/6 Cardiac Physiologist to undertake a non patient facing role within their team of Cardiac Data Analysts.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the Analyst team, you will be expected to complete reporting on 12 lead and Holter data andprovide your clinical opinion on ECG analysis.

In addittion you may support the performance of quality control (QC) on other Cardiac Data Analysts reports.

Patients are a mixture of NHS, private and clinical trials. You will utilise your expertise in physiology and cardiology to deliver high-quality care and contribute to the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Job responsibilities

To provide accurate investigation, analysis, interpretation and measurement of ECG data. To provide administrative support in accordance with the industry requirements and working to the companys Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) at all times. To support with training and mentoring of the Analyst team. Monitoring of industry requirements and implementation of CPD (Continual Professional Development). The maintenance and updating of all relevant records to include all new procedures and techniques. Comply with the company's inter and intra operator variability requirements. Providing technical assistance for clients. Administrative duties relating to the department. Ensuring compliance to all Quality Control Procedures and GCP. Assisting the departmental manager with any testing or development. Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent 24 hour Holter analysis experience

Desirable

SCST registration (desirable) willingness to work towards SCST Diploma in ECG interpretation Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.

Experience

Essential

Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience as a Cardiac Physiologist with a special interest in Analysis.

Desirable

Working knowledge of Spacelabs, Pathfinder & other operating platforms
