A brand-new role has become available working within our award-winning Health and Safety team at our defence site in Samlesbury, Blackburn. As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will work closely with the Health and Safety Officer supporting all HSEQ activities in a manner that ensures all mandatory and statutory requirements are achieved.

Complete daily checklists and site walks looking for hazards, checking fire extinguishers and other site equipment Carrying out risk assessments and dealing with any hazards where possible or escalating to HSEQ Officer to assist in the creation/modification of action plans Create, maintain and support training of Safe System of Work documents Support HSEQ Officer to respond to and investigate incidents Work alongside colleague and Union H&S reps on projects and activities Promote and demonstrate HSEQ best practice across the site Create and deliver safety briefings Administration of H&S activities Support with environmental activities and initiatives Help to facilitate training requirementsWhat will you bring?
