We are seeking to recruit a highly experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Leadership team in Cotswolds Integrated Community Teams (ICTs)
Main duties of the job
Your focus will be on operational and professional leadership, governance, support and development for Occupational Therapists working within the South Cotswolds ICT. You will join an established, highly experienced peer group of professionals covering community nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and reablement.
Working as part of the multidisciplinary community-based team; the successful candidate will be passionate about the role of Occupational Therapy and how we can support people in their own homes - ranging from rapid assessment to prevent hospital admission, through to provision of therapy for Home First/Reablement and assessment for long term adaptations through the disabled facilities grant processes.
In collaboration with colleagues, you will be responsible for service developments using a quality improvement approach and through making links across other services and organisations.
You will receive regular supervision and be working as part of a supportive team.

Job responsibilities
To provide clinical, professional, managerial and leadership expertise for your profession within the ICTs, providing profession specific advice
Support and direct clinical decision making (patient and service specific) on all relevant matters to ensure the quality of services provided.
To work in partnership as part of the ICT Operational Team to ensure high quality clinical care is delivered operationally.
The post holder will be a driver for innovation and a champion in advancing best practice in the contribution that community services deliver as part of the health and social care system.
To work with, develop and maintain partnerships with other health, social and third sector partners.
To undertake all duties and inter-actions with employees, partner providers and customers fairly, without unlawful discrimination and with due regard to Equality and Diversity policies for employment and service delivery.
To work effectively within the ICTs and ensure all staff adhere to their Professional Code of Conduct as a registered professional.
In collaboration with the Community Manager and Professional Head of Service to ensure alignment of professional priorities with organisational priorities and core business.
To support a positive culture of development, growth and progression within the organisation. To embed values, holism and integrated working. Collaborating with the management team and other Professional Leads to ensure high quality care delivery
