DevOps Engineer – Embedded Developer Tooling

What is the opportunity?

The Software Product Experience team within ADI’s Software and Security Group are expanding and we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer. Do you find the need to automate everything? If so, this might be the role for you. We are a globally distributed software team that builds customer tools using modern software development practices and deploy across different environments.

What will I be doing?

Create and manage workflows for CI/CD pipelines and help and support teams in creating or migrating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Create docker images and write shared libraries that allow developers to easily create CI/CD pipelines. Embody ADI’s goal of “engineering excellence” by embracing our values of honesty and integrity in everything you do. Play an active role in mentoring other engineers and working with the tech lead to grow the team.

What skills do I need?

4+ years of relevant industry experience in Software development and DevOps activities. Proficient with standard software engineering practices such as agile development methodologies, DevOps workflows. Excellent knowledge in CI/CD pipelines especially with GitHub Actions and Jenkins Pipelines. Proficient with source control, particularly git. Deep knowledge of python, Typescript, and corresponding testing / mocking frameworks. Comfortable with packaging Windows, Linux and macOS desktop applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Being able to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions across a distributed team is a core requirement.
