You will be responsible for designing the platform and its integration with enterprise services and capabilities that ensure the platform and processes are robust, secure and compliant. Responsible for identifying the backlog of activities required to support scalability, performance, security, resilience and observability. Using strong problem-solving skills and a combination of technical knowledge, experience and judgement to identify available options and clearly set-out the way forward. Creating, developing and documenting efficient solutions and frameworks with the potential to be federated for future utilisation across the organisation. You will also build and automate the configuration and delivery of the different service capabilities.


Skill / Experience

Solid understanding of Data Engineering Concepts and Experience of building and maintaining reliable and scalable big data platforms. Experience of integrating azure hosted platforms within enterprise capabilities including Service Now, CyberArc, Azure Dev Ops in an enterprise environment

Experience of implementing development lifecycle including dependency management and DevOps and CI/CD tools and techniques (Azure DevOps, Git) Solid understanding of cloud services, especially Microsoft Azure, is recommended as Microsoft Fabric is integrated with Azure services Experience of designing robust, secure and compliant platform capabilities

Strong understanding of Apache Spark, including its architecture, components, and how to create, monitor, optimize, and scale Spark jobs. Experience of working in an DevOps / Agile team

Experience of managing environments using IAC (terraform, APIs)
