Winchester Companion Care and Andover Vets for Pets are seeking a new colleague to join their existing team. The role will be split between both practices and is a fully office based role.

Location: 
Companion Care Winchester (SO23 7XA) – 3 days per week
Vets for Pets Andover (SP10 4DU) – 2 days per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

We are looking for an Administrator to join the busy, well-established teams in our Winchester and Andover practices. Both locations are very spacious with state of the art equipment and high medical and surgical caseloads. We provide excellent standards of inpatient care and we need great people to join our team to support us in achieving our vision.

The successful candidate will enjoy a varied work load and thrive on client contact. We are looking for an individual who shares our high standards and work ethos.

This is a versatile role that involves a variety of responsibilities. You will be required to generate weekly reports for the Joint Venture Partner, manage and process petty cash, handle debt management, coordinate with debt collectors and insurance companies, liaise with our suppliers regarding back orders and resolve any issues that arise, manage elements of stock control, update/create new protocols and perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, taking payments and general enquiries. This position will also involve interacting with clients and providing occasional reception cover.
About you:

Strong proficiency in Excel with skills in data entry, formula creation, report presentation and analysis (. pivot tables, lookups, SUMIF . Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical and alphanumeric tasks. Ability to work effectively within a team. Comfortable handling large volumes of data efficiently. Ideally, prior experience working within a finance team. Excellent communication and written skills: spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Friendly, professional and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. Self-motivated, punctual, and organised with a keen eye for detail. Able to provide excellent client service and demonstrate their commitment to delivering high standards of accuracy in all aspects of their role. Experience within the veterinary profession is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
