Location: The ideal person will be located Milton Keynes/Northampton, but we are also open to nearby locations if you are willing to travel.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference, conducting essential fire safety risk assessments, fire door surveys and compartmentation surveys.

Requirements

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Conduct fire safety risk assessments, fire door inspections and compartmentation surveys in line with the latest regulations
  • Produce clear and actionable reports that guide clients towards compliance
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders, explaining findings and recommendations with clarity and confidence
  • Stay ahead of changes in fire safety legislation and industry best practices, ensuring our advice is always the best available
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance our services and share knowledge
  • Support the business by working flexibly and responsively from the company’s office or from client’s sites as required
  • Exceptional communication skills — the ability to engage and inform clients with ease
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset that helps you identify potential hazards swiftly
  • A valid driving license, as this role involves visiting various sites
  • Enthusiasm for continual learning and professional growth

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree or qualification in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety
  • Registered with the IFSM, Tier 2 or similar competency scheme
  • At least 5 years’ experience within the fire industry
  • Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments, fire door surveys and compartmentation surveys
  • Strong understanding of current fire safety regulations and legislation
