As a Road Access Product Manager , responsible for exploring, understanding and defining port-based logistics products within the Road Access Services product group across DP World UK focusing on ‘near port adjacencies’ projects prioritising on introducing new differential pricing structure for road/gate products. 

You will work within a team that is responsible for developing and providing the various Supply Chain value adding services on offer to our customers, together with customer interaction on services linked to road, plus other supply chain products and services linked to DP World UK 

The Road Access Product Manager will provide exceptional customer service and communication to internal and external customers, information on inquiries and provide efficient and high-quality assistance; ensure the highest customer satisfaction by proactively understanding customer needs; request customer feedback on their satisfaction and provide improvement recommendations.

Location: Stanford le Hope 

Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

How you will contribute

Learn and understand DPW UK Supply Chain products and services  Drive, define and manage execution of new price differential road products into the UK logistics market Part of the team to design, prep, implement and review new road products Introduce a range of differential service offerings with new direct customers Potential future deployment at scale across DPW Europe Responsible for exploring, understanding, and defining port-based logistics products within the Road Access services product group across DPW London Gateway and DPW Southampton Trial, review, refine and deploy at scale road access services ensuring they meet customer, market, and sustainability requirements Identify customer value propositions towards addressable market and translate opportunities into deliverable business plans Learn and understand cargo collection and delivery market trends, opportunities and challenges whilst building collaborative relationships with supply chain partners Incentivise customer experience and work with internal departments to improve operational efficiencies and define operational parameters for products and services Responsible for both product and annual budgets Lead, develop, motivate and build positive learning culture providing guidance to team members Provide regular and consistent reports on volume, operational impact, together with revenue and costs Interaction and build relationships with key stakeholders Create user feedback tools Display strong operational planning and excellent administration skills Learn and understand the various Operational Port Systems to manage and operate UK Supply Chain products and services Good aptitude to learn and understand IT/Systems Keeping up to date with current Port Operations Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal departments Manage and process operating costs and generated revenue dependent on customer service agreements

What you will bring

Ideally will have experience in UK containerized port supply chain industry Experience in interacting with, or participating in, the UK container road haulage industry Previous project management experience with defining, implementing, and running projects in operationally challenging environment Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate across departments/suppliers and external customers Good aptitude to learn and understand IT/Systems Proactive structuring and project management sills to assist with critical path deadlines and project priorities to achieve objectives Working knowledge of container terminal operations and operational interface with road haulage deliveries
