About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Foundation Studies Lecturer to join our team in Isleworth. This role involves working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to support their academic and personal development. The position is an ongoing temporary booking, requiring commitment from Tuesday to Friday, for 12-15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive foundation studies lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with SEN students.
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
