Salary Scale: £83-90 

Contract Type: Full-time 

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

  • Help with Lesson Planning: As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support teachers in creating fun and interesting lessons that engage students.
  • Provide Individual Support: You'll give personalized help to students or small groups, addressing their unique learning needs.
  • Build Positive Relationships: Your role includes forming supportive connections with students to boost their well-being and encourage them to participate actively.
  • Support Classroom Behaviour: You'll assist in using effective strategies to manage behaviour and maintain a positive classroom environment.
  • Work Together for Improvement: You'll collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience for everyone.

Qualifications and Skills for a Teaching Assistant:

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Confidently engage with students, teachers, and colleagues.
  • Patience, Flexibility, and a Genuine Passion: Show dedication to supporting student success and adapting to their needs.
