Job Description

5 months contract with local authorities

To provide direct project management support to Parking Management Team and Head of Service

To assist the Parking Management Team and Head of Service with preparation and presentations to Committees and all other types of meetings. 


Assist the Parking Management Team in preparing a strategy to effectively analyse the current Parking Services contract in order to select a suitable form of contract to retender the service for the go live date of 1 April 2027, which provides best value for money to the Authority.

The production and delivery of high-level service development and enhancement projects in accordance with Committee, Scrutiny and Board requirements and expectations

To monitor and manage the associated budget. to interrogate and manage back office softwares deployed by various contractors for management of services.

To work in conjunction with the contractors, suppliers and officers across the two boroughs to determine customer needs and preferences and to participate in initiatives and be able to identify and implement a service delivery approach that produces a range of efficient, quality services reflective of customer expectations.

To establish and develop effective working relationships and productive partnerships with all the relevant partners, including those in e.g. education, health, social services, independent and voluntary sectors.

To participate in the delivery of projects and programmes of work in relation to elements of service to improve customer satisfaction and value for money outcomes for the Council.

To deal promptly with all matters requiring the post holder’s personal attention and as assigned to them.
