A new luxury British EV company passionately focused on creating exceptional cars is seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will help shape our social media presence and champion the effective deployment of sophisticated and compelling social media strategies and tactics aligned with our commercial and marketing goals.

The Role

  • Lead & manage social media strategy, planning, operations & performance for Forseven.
  • Build up the social media function including:
  • procuring and activating the right operational platform eg. Hootsuite
  • launching new consumer brand social media accounts across the key social platforms including Instagram, Linked In (Linked In specifically will involve working with Comms colleagues) and Youtube.
  • Work with Storytelling colleagues to shape content strategy and calendars for social and develop assets (imagery, video, copy) for posts.
  • Build the relationship with key platforms eg. Meta (Instagram), Google (Youtube), Linked In & Tiktok.
  • Champion and operationalise an ongoing process of testing, learning, insight generation, optimisation & continuous performance improvement.
  • Deploy a social listening programme in partnership with agency partners to shape content strategy & social campaigns.
  • Responsible for setting social media KPIs, tracking & reporting.
  • Lead social media community activity initially with agency partners & eventually recruiting and managing a social media community marketing manager.
  • Lead budget & resource management for the social media function.

You

  • Have an outstanding track record of building brands through social media either working client side or in an agency environment specialising in social media.
  • Must have demonstrable experience working on a leading FMCG, retail, lifestyle, destination, luxury or automotive consumer brand.
  • Are passionate about continuous performance improvement.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, with culturally sensitive mindset and global perspective.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in marketing, specialising in social media.
