Housekeeper

Sketchley Hall School are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our support team, part of our friendly, caring and supportive whole school team We are looking for passionate people to make sure our site is safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school and will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance. The role will include cleaning the main building as well as the additional classroom blocks, toilets, swimming changing facilities, training kitchen, staff area as well as stock taking of cleaning products and refilling dispensers as required, training will be given where necessary.
Due to the nature of the school the housekeeper will require access from 6am to enable complete cleaning of the classrooms and main school areas before students arrive at This will involve opening up the site before the maintenance team arrive so will include a short period of loan working.
The hours for this role will be 4 hours per day with the timings of 6am to 10am
The following skills would be of benefit to the role:
Previous experience in a housekeeping or site cleaning position. A good knowledge of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace, however training will be provided. You will be organised, adaptable and thorough in your approach to work.Our benefits include:
