The role available is based in Wolverhampton and the branch has a rating of "Outstanding" for "well-led" and "Good" across the other four categories set by CQC with "Good" overall. The branch benefits from a good core of Care Staff with ample opportunity to grow further. Currently work is commissioned through the Local Authority (under formal contract), NHS and private arrangements.

The company is very innovative in approach and currently tackling staff shortages in healthcare across the nation very successfully through pilot schemes and adapting working practices to accommodate a wider labor pool. Requirements

The role of Care Manager is among the most challenging but rewarding within the company. The opportunity to mold a service with the help and guidance of a vastly experienced Board of Directors and Head of Care Service along with robust structures of policies, procedures and practices already in place.

Key responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage the day to day running of the business.
  • Allocate resources and monitor performance to deliver high quality home care to customers within budget.
  • Manage all aspects of the staff team and provide sound leadership to ensure staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities and have the support they need to carry out their roles safely.
  • Monitor and maintain the compliance and quality of the branch against the standards set by the parent company, liaising with CQC where required with the support initially from the Head of Care Service.
