Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant             

Are you a compassionate Psychology (or related subject) graduate holding a 2:1 or higher from a Top 30 university?

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Education Needs (SEN), offering them strategies to develop their social, emotional and academic skills?

Perhaps you have some pre-existing experience working in care, SEN or similar roles, and are now looking for your next challenge?

A vibrant and forward-thinking SEN school close to the New Adlington area of Croydon is seeking various candidates to deploy in the capacity of a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant. Serving a cohort of 14 in an early year learning provision with complex ASD needs, this school is seeking resilient and empathetic individuals with a genuine passion for supporting SEN learners.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role:

  • Competitive earning potential of £500 per week or more
  • Psychology graduates encouraged to apply
  • SEN or care experience desired but not essential

  • Sociable working hours of 8:30-3:30, Monday to Friday

This early year’s provision SEN school is a new development established with the key desire to support children aged 3-5 with autism.

Due to the nature of this role, candidates are required to bring high levels of natural emotional intelligence, empathy and compassion to the role.

This rare opportunity is offering successful applicants two months of paid training for the role. This exceptional opportunity will prep you in all aspects of working with children with additional needs and give you the opportunity to develop your professional skillset in a brand-new environment, supported by a specialist academy with a track record of providing exceptional support for both students and staff alike.

With a brand new, state of the art autism provision being built to house these students, you will not only work alongside exceptional staff, you will also be immersed in an engaging environment that will help you ‘make the difference’ in the lives of your students.

Successful candidates for this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role must demonstrate resilience alongside a genuine desire and passion for supporting SEN students.
