Job Description:Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom.
- Assist teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Support students with their academic and personal development.
- Work closely with SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other staff members to ensure the needs of SEN students are met.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
Education:
- GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards SEN students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
- Training in specific SEN interventions or programmes.
Working Conditions:
- Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday.
- Classroom-based role with some additional administrative duties.
- Opportunity for professional development and training.
- Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
