KWS UK Ltd . is looking to recruit at the earliest opportunity a  Farms Operative.  This is a  full-time,   permanent position  based in  Thriplow  near Cambridge.

In this position you will join our operations team and assist with field activities essential for the successful development of new varieties across a range of Agricultural Crops.

We offer a hands-on working environment and the chance to work with highly motivated and qualified colleagues.

What you can expect in this role: 

You will carry out agricultural field activities such as cultivations, drilling, spraying, pest control and harvesting using precision trial and farm machinery. You will support all aspects of crop production for trials, breeding nurseries and seed production.

 What you bring in: 

You have a full UK driving licence. You have agricultural machinery experience. Supervisory experience would be beneficial, although training can be given. You are able to work within teams and alone. You are trustworthy and reliable. You are willing to work longer hours during harvest, drilling and other peak periods. You are eager to learn about plant breeding.
