As part of our continued growth supporting our customers both domestically and internationally, we are looking for highly skilled aircraft maintenance professionals to join our team. We support the UK Poseidon MRA Mk1 here in Lossiemouth, international P8 customers across the globe and will be supporting the E7 Wedgetail in Lossiemouth. Successful applicants will be based in Lossiemouth.

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Operations Manager leads the P8-A aircraft Support team, and is responsible for supporting the delivery of base maintenance in support of the Royal Air Force at RAF Lossiemouth. The successful applicant will lead and manage a team of Maintenance Controllers, Operational Support staff and Support team, under BDUK's MAA MRP Part 145 (MAOS) In partnership with the Aircraft Maintenance Manager.

Other duties include:

Managing employees performing customer support, logistics, technical, retrofit, repair and maintenance activities within Product Support. Developing and executing project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures and setting operational goals. Acquiring resources for projects and processes, providing technical management of suppliers and leading process improvements. Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Providing oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Managing, developing and motivating team members.

Typical Education/Experience:

Degree level or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline UK/EASA Part 66 Licence B1 and/or B2 or equivalent Management/leadership experience within an aircraft Maintenance repair organisation (MRO), Military Maintenance Organisation (MMO) or Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) 737 derivative aircraft technical experience an advantage Project management experience
