Vicon is looking for an outstanding Content Manager to join its marketing team. It offers a hybrid on-site/home-based working environment, with the expectation of a two-three day presence per week, in either our Oxfordshire or Centennial office. 

This role will work to create, distribute and optimize the performance of high-quality content across a variety of channels to support revenue and lead generation and increase brand awareness. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing and project management skills. 

As a Content Manager, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to oversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement. 
Key Responsibilities• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders from other functions including Product Marketing, Product Management, Growth Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to develop and execute content strategy 
• Create/update SEO optimized content including blogs, white papers, case studies, and other content aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets, that will live on the company website and be pushed out through marketing efforts. 
• Create effective content briefs for agencies, and project manage deliverables for successful outcomes 
• Manage posting and engagement on social media platforms, making comments, sending DMs to our customers, connecting with industry influencers and building new influencer networks. 
• Create banners and marketing material from agency-created templates using, but not limited to photoshop, illustrator and canva 
• Work with Global Corporate Marketing Manager to develop an editorial calendar and ensure marketing and product teams are on board 
• Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection) 
• Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention 
• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of the content strategy and make data-driven improvements. 
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise·        Proven work experience as a Content manager ·        Previous HubSpot (or other marketing management tool) experience preferred ·        Basic technical knowledge web publishing ·        Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics ·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills ·        Excellent organizational skills ·        Extensive knowledge of existing and emerging social platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok ·        Knowledge of how to create, execute and analyze text and e-mail marketing channels ·        BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
