Content Development Manager

Oxford University Press (OUP) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Editor to join our team. As a key member of our editorial team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality content that meets the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of pedagogically effective content for our products, working closely with authors, writers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our content is of the highest quality.
- Manage and develop a team of content development editors, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to deliver outstanding results.
- Work collaboratively across the organization to research, plan, and manage projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and to budget.
We are looking for someone with substantial experience in developing multi-modal teaching and learning content, as well as editorial experience in educational publishing. You should have excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will also have a strong understanding of educational teaching and learning requirements, and be able to adapt to a changing work environment and global market. Ideally, you will have first-hand experience of teaching, preferably in an ELT environment.
