Northampton, United Kingdom Teaching Personnel Full time

A school based in Northampton is looking for Teaching Assistants for a full-time role starting as soon as possible. The organisation works with children currently out of mainstream schooling and provides individualised plans for their progression in their education. The classes are mixed students from KS2 to KS4.

Within this role, you will help the students with their work and with additional support that they may require.

The children within the school have SEMH needs, so it is important that you support a calm and positive learning environment whilst in the position.

You will also work with the teacher and other members of support staff to ensure that children are focusing on their work and progressing at a good rate.

As the classrooms are very small, you will be able to individualise the support you provide and ensure that this is in line with lesson plans.

For this role you should –

  • Have previous experience working in a school environment
  • Be available on a long term full time basis
  • Have a full driving license
  • Have experience in a support role
  • Be available full time

If you are interested in this role, please send an up to date copy of your CV alongside your application.
